Haven't had an opportunity to use the reel because it is still winter.   It is lightweight, looks good, and the drag is super smooth.  I am looking forward to using it during the open water season.

I love the reel but you sent me the wrong size reel, I brought the 1000 but you guys sent me the 2500 reel.

What a great reel.  Very lightweight and the smoothest casting and retrieving reel I've ever owned. I like the front mounted drag adjustment, as opposed to a knob at the rear. I believe it makes for a much smoother drag. The Vanford drag system is possibly the best on the market. I will be buying another, probably a 3000 size, right away.

Came ahead of schedule, at a great price with free shipping. Got 2 for my boys-perfect reels for learning to cast and landing bass. Paired with light uglystik elite 5'6" rods and 10 lb braid-perfect. So light-they arent bothered by the weight and practiced for an hour at a time.

Worth every penny

It was actually ****. The title was a little confusing…

It's an excellent quality reel at a great clearance price. Shipping time was good.
